The Frog Pond

Earlier this week, I stumbled on two small lily ponds. Actually, they were more like a frog pond than a lily pond. Most of the frogs dove into the water as I walked up, but soon began to take a closer look at my camera and me. The smaller frogs tended to stay on the lily pads near the back and let the larger frogs venture closer. These are two of my favorite shots as two of the larger frogs began to take a closer look.

I was shooting in the early afternoon, but eventually sun disappeared behind the clouds and I was able to have some good lighting for a few minutes.
