Fall at the Old Grist Mill Spring Mill SP IN

Photo Walk at Spring Mill State Park October 5th

It has been awhile since I posted any updates. I had my second partial-knee replacement this past June. All went well, but it seems the rehab is slower this time. I am now walking about two miles a day and working on getting to three miles as we have planned some hikes to photograph fall colors.

Now that I can do some photography, the weather just does not cooperate. However, I have done considerable research and have a growing list of locations to explore and photograph. Let’s hope we have some rain that will lead to great fall colors!

Again this year, I am leading a PhotoWalk at Spring Mill State Park on October 5th. There is no registration fee, but you must register. Information is in the following paragraph.

Join Gary Morrison for a walk through the19th century Pioneer Village in Spring Mill State Park near Mitchell, Indiana. The Photo Walk will be during the Autumn Harvest Days where you will find individuals dressed in period clothing and demonstrating tools and techniques of the period. This area of the park is rich with photo opportunities of 200-year old buildings, tools, goods, antiques, people, and landscapes. There is no charge for the walk (there is an admission fee for the park), but you must register at worldwidephotowalk.com. Search for Mitchell, Indiana to find the walk.

This is the fourth year I have led a walk at Spring Mill. We have had lots of fun and I hope you can join me this year!
